In cases of accidents and emergencies, healthcare services will be provided within the framework of the GHS by the Accident and Emergency Departments (A&Es) of the hospitals.
Any A&E that wishes to provide accident and emergency services under GHS must comply with the provisions of the GHS Law and the Regulations, internal regulations and Decisions issued thereof.
Under the GHS, accident and emergency services will be provided only by A&E Departments which have a contract with HIO.
