Codification

What is the purpose of codification?

The use of codes for the description of healthcare services such as medical procedures, diagnoses, pharmaceutical products, lab tests etc. is adopted in accordance with international standards and aiming at improving the healthcare services quality offered to GHS beneficiaries.

The use of codes optimises communication between all parties involved in the GHS both in Cyprus and abroad within the framework of cross-border healthcare.
