What type of technical equipment must a healthcare provider have in order to operate within the GHS?
All healthcare providers’ processes will be done online using the HIO Information Technology System free of charge.  More specifically, the providers will carry out all GHS processes via the Provider Portal and must have the following equipment:
  1. Access to a computer that has the following software programs:

    1. At least one of the following web browsers:

      • Google Chrome

      • Firefox

      • Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge

      • Safari

    2. PDF (Portable Document Format) Reader

  2. Broadband internet connection (minimum 5Mbps)

  3. E-mail account

  4. Printer, scanner and copier

  5. Mobile phone number from a telecommunications provider in Cyprus
What type of technical equipment must a beneficiary have in order to have access to the HIO Information Technology System?
Access to the HIO IT System will be provided by the HIO free of charge to beneficiaries.  Beneficiaries need the following technical equipment:
  1. Access to a computer that has the following software programs:

    1. At least one of the following web browsers:

      • Google Chrome

      • Firefox

      • Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge

      • Safari

    2. PDF (Portable Document Format) Reader

  2. Broadband internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps)

  3. E-mail account

  4. Mobile phone number from a telecommunications provider in Cyprus
