You register beneficiaries in your beneficiaries list by following one of the procedures below:
a. You can register a beneficiary via the Provider Portal upon the beneficiary’s visit to your office
o The beneficiary’s registration process can be done by you or your support staff (secretary) provided that you have stated this and have given them access to the Provider Portal
o It is also noted that in the case a beneficiary is added to the beneficiaries list of a PD by the PD himself, the beneficiary shall receive a relevant notification immediately.
b. A beneficiary can register on his own via the Beneficiary Portal
o A beneficiary chooses you via the Beneficiary Portal and submits a registration request to your beneficiaries list. Upon the submission of the request by the beneficiary you shall receive a relevant notification and asked to reply whether:
c. You accept the request and therefore the beneficiary is added to your beneficiaries list, or
d. You ask the beneficiary to visit you before you register them on your beneficiaries list. In this case, the beneficiary is not registered in your beneficiaries list and the place in the list is no longer saved.
o It is noted that the registration request to a PD list submitted by a beneficiary is valid for 7 calendar[US1] days. In case you do not reply within that deadline the request expires.
o In addition, a beneficiary has the right, after submitting a registration request to a PD list and the request is pending (i.e. it is still valid) to submit again a registration request to another PD. In this case, the previous registration request is cancelled and only the registration request that was submitted last is valid.
